Help with this Joke/Scene

Anyone willing to check out this scene and let me know how to more clearly get the joke across.  The main joke is that the show airs live with director commentary and then when you buy the DVD of the show it has director commentary over the director commentary.  It gets a little confusing listening to it I think.

Worst Show on the Web

We had our first official show on March 10th of the "Cory and Tom show featuring Bob and Mark" and we had a few problems. Where to start...we had some huge technical difficulties and the second half of the show is basically inaudible. Mark, decided to spend half of the show talking to his friends and ignoring the show. Then we got into a huge fight about it on the air. To be honest I almost cancelled the show right then and there. But I knew I couldn't do it. For one thing, Cory and Tom deserve better. They do. I think we all know that. Don't we? Who is the "we" in that sentence? Why all the questions? Who knows. Anyway, I could have given up on the show, given up on the fans, given up on Tom and Cory, but they deserve better. They do.  read more »

H Jon Benjamin is My Hero

I'm not sure what the H stands for, it's probably "helluvafunnyguy." Jon Benjamin does the voices for a ton of my favorite shows. Home Movies, O'Grady, Dr. Katz, Science Court, Freak Show, Assy McGee, Lucy, The Daughter of the Devil, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Family Guy, and The Venture Bros. As well as several other TV and movie appearances, and writing jobs. That's quite a resume.

The guy is a genius. Perfect timing, great improv, awesome characters, need I go on. H Jon Benjamin is the man. Just wondering when he's gonna get a real job.

Gumby Essentials DVD Volume 1

Fifty years ago this year, legendary animator and producer Art Clokey created Gumby. Soon after, the clayboy received his very own Saturday morning TV series. “The Gumby Show” debuted on March 16, 1957 on NBC. Since then, Gumby has starred in 223 TV episodes, which were produced in the 1950s, 1960s and 1980s.

Gumby Essentials is a must-have collection that includes popular episodes from the 1950s, 1960s, and 1980s series, personally selected by Art Clokey. For his big anniversary close-up, the one and only clayboy gets a makeover! For the first time, Joe Clokey, Art Clokey’s son, has used the original film to digitally re-master each episode from the classic TV series. The original soundtrack has been restored, and the 1950s episodes have been returned to their original 11-minute format (previously two re-edited, 6-minute shorts).

The DVD collection will be available September 4 for $16.93 SRP and features environmentally friendly packaging.

Pit and the Pendulum

Pit and the Pendulum

A short adaptatation of Edgar Allan Poe's classic short story, The Pit and the Pendulum, Executive Produced by Ray Harryhausen. The film is stop motion animation, and has been on the festival circuit for a little while.

The trailer can bee seen here: www.thepitandthependulunmshortfilm.com

The blog is here: www.thepitandthependulumshortfilm.blogspot.com

I thought the trailer was awesome. Looking forward to seeing the full movie. Animation was great, lighting was very dark and shadowy and almost erie. Charachters looked excellent. Great sounds as well. Looks like it will be a nice little film. Check out The Pit and the Pendulum if you get the chance.
