Where have all the Animation Nerds gone?
Where have all the animation nerds gone? And I'm distinguishing between nerds and geeks. Geeks refers to people who still live in that high school mentality. Still trying to fit in, still believing in the concept of cool. Nerds refers to the type of guy who over analyzes every Simpsons episode. Nerds refers to the guy who got upset with the episode F412 and how it made fun of the nerdy fans. Nerds refers to the guys who show up to Comicon to meet Brendon Small.
In that spirit I'm posting my top 50 favorite Simpsons episodes of all time. Think my lists stinks? Lets argue about it like Simpsons nerds.

Simpsons Season Premier
The Simpsons season premier aired tonight on Fox. It's great to have the show back, summer seems so long with nothing but re-runs.
The opening was fantastic, they poked fun at themselves and the movie. With an appearance by Spider Pig. It was a pretty good episode, lots of great Homer scenes.
The story was, Homer got a taste of life in a Private Jet. He tried to get a job where he would be flying on a private jet. He lied and told his family he got the job. Spent his days at Krusty Burger. And hilarity ensued.
It's great to have the show back. I'm looking forward to a killer season after the success of the movie.

The Simpsons Movie

I saw the Simpsons Movie on Friday. I thought it was excellent. It was really exciting to see all of the charachters on the big screen. The animation looked way beefed up. Very cool.
It had a great story line and moved very quickly. The plot is: Homer dooms springfield and then has to save the day, with an odd trip to Alaska in there somewhere too. They tried to squeeze all the characters in at least once. Lots of Homer scenes as well as Flanders.
My favorite part of the movie was the visual gag of Bart skateboarding through town in his birthday suit. Classic. It was fun to see it in a crowded theater and hear everyone laughing.
I was pretty satisfied with the movie. I laughed a lot and really enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend it. I will surely be picking it up when it comes out on DVD. Check out the Simpsons Movie if you haven't.

Simpsons Movie Site
The website for the new Simpsons movie is awesome. The movie comes out next Friday and they seem to have the hype machine in full swing. The website has a place where you can make yourself as a Simpsons charachter. Which right there is cool enough. But there's more....
They have some games on there as well as the usual tour of Springfield. But the site looks killer, the flash is great, the games and features are worth checking out.
Can't wait for the Simpsons movie!

The Simpsons
Simpsons has been around for what seems like forever. I've been watching them since day one. I'm a bit of a junky. I love all of the characters. The writing lately has been a bit lame, but seasons 5-8 were perfect.
I'll cover a lot more on the Simpsons later. Way too much to cover in one post.
